Design the Most Iconic Cannabis Gift Box of 2026

We’re selecting one artist to define the visual world of the 2026 12 Jays of Xmas — a limited-edition release supporting Emerald Triangle farmers.

Paid collaboration

Statewide exposure

A collectible people keep

THE OPPORTUNITY

This isn’t just a submission.

It’s an invitation to create something that will live on shelves, in homes, and in culture.

Your artwork will become the face of a highly anticipated holiday release — shared across dispensaries, marketing campaigns, and community events across California.

THE VISION

We’re looking for an artist with a strong, original point of view.

A visual world that blends:

  • Cannabis culture
  • Holiday storytelling
  • Emerald Triangle mythology
  • Jay birds ( a play on “days of xmas” and “jays” for joints)

Playful or refined. Psychedelic or minimal. Classic or unexpected.

What matters is that it feels alive — and unmistakably yours.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Paid commission

Your artwork featured on a widely distributed product

Promotion across digital, retail, and press channels

Invitations to community and donor events to sell additional artwork

Opportunity to expand your visibility and collector base

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The 12 Jays of Xmas is a curated holiday box celebrating craft cannabis and the culture behind it.  It brings together 12 small Emerald Triangle farms in one gift box.

A portion of proceeds supports the Humboldt County Growers Alliance — helping sustain the farmers and ecosystem that make this region legendary.

LAST YEAR’S ARTIST

Mabel Alcock

I wanted to participate to gain experience creating a product for a company and community I support. It was great working with you guys and it felt like I had creative control and vision over the product outcome. It benefitted me by allowing me to gain visibility as an artist and have my work seen by so many people! Not to mention Snoop and Woody! It was an amazing experience and I will be throwing my hat in the ring again for next year.

This project is designed for artists who see themselves as shaping culture — not just participating in it
